Pearl Barley is barley grain that has been processed to remove the outer hull and bran. This New Zealand grown pearl barley is a deliciously hearty grain with a chewy texture and a light nutty flavor. A good source of fiber and a number of trace minerals like selenium, manganese and phosphorus, it is great in soups, casseroles and salads.
